Nebraska track and field junior Keyshawn Strachan was named Big Ten Co-Field Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.
Strachan won the javelin title at the Big Red Classic last Friday with a toss of 268-7 (81.86m). The Nassau, Bahamas native broke his own school record and now ranks second nationally and first in the Big Ten.
Strachan was a first-team All-American in the javelin in 2025, finishing fifth overall.
The Huskers compete at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa today through Saturday.
