Allick Helps Swarm Win G League Title

Former Husker forward Josiah Allick helped the Greensboro Swarm to the NBA G League Championship with a sweep of the Stockton Kings.  The Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, won the opener of the best-of-three series with a 111-107 win before completing the sweep with a 119-104 road win two days later.

Allick, who played for the Huskers in 2023-24 and helped NU to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in a decade, played in five playoff games for the Swarm, averaging 5.4 points per game on 61 percent shooting and 5.6 rebounds per game. He was a force on the glass averaging 3.6 offensive rebounds per game while playing 18.5 minutes per contest.

On the season, Allick averaged 6.6 points per game on 68 percent shooting, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game in 28 games for the Swarm.  

Allick played in New Zealand in 2025 for the Southland Sharks, earning league MVP honors as he averaged 19.0 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
