The College Gymnastics Association named Asher Cohen its Specialist of the Week following his performance in Nebraska's meet against the Michigan Wolverines men's gymnastics. It marks the second consecutive week he has earned the honor and the third time in his career.
Cohen won the rings title with a career-high 14.70, highlighted by a stuck landing. The score is tied for the highest on the event this season. He also competed on parallel bars, tying for fourth with a 13.65.
Cohen is ranked No. 1 nationally on rings and No. 9 on parallel bars. He is also a finalist for the Nissen-Emery Award.
Cohen also earned Big Ten Specialist of the Week honors this week.
