The No. 10 Nebraska softball team downed the Michigan Wolverines, 8-4, on Sunday afternoon at Bowlin Stadium to move to 20-5 on the season and 2-0 in the Big Ten.
Hannah Camenzind led the Big Red with three RBI and two hits on the day. Jordy Frahm, Samantha Bland and Ava Kuszak each logged an RBI and Frahm and Kuszak each knocked a home run. Hannah Coor contributed a double.
Frahm (7-3) grabbed the win in the circle after tossing 4.2 innings with two runs and seven strikeouts. Kylee Magee started for the Huskers and went 2.1 innings with two runs and two strikeouts.
Michigan homered in the top of the first to take a quick 1-0 lead.
In the bottom of the second, Coor doubled and Caneda knocked a two-run shot to give the Big Red a 2-1 edge.
UM added a run in the top of the third on an RBI double, but the Huskers took the lead back at 3-2 when Frahm singled and an H. Camenzind RBI hit sent her across the plate.
Frahm and Kuszak both hit solo homers in the bottom of the fifth to extend the lead to 5-2.
Michigan added two runs in the top of the sixth on a two-RBI single.
The Huskers sealed the win in the bottom of the sixth, as Kacie Hoffmann singled, Caneda reached on a fielder’s choice, L. Camenzind singled and Frahm walked to load the bases. Bland walked in a run and H. Camenzind singled to score the other two and make the score 8-4.

- Katelyn Caneda’s home run was her first of the season and her first since April 12, 2024.
- Jordy Frahm’s home run marked her 100th RBI of her career. She now has 100+ hits, runs and RBI.
