Nebraska soccer head coach John Walker announced the addition of Austen Parker as the Huskers’ goalkeeper coach on Wednesday.
Parker comes to NU after spending one season as the goalkeeper coach at Missouri. His keepers at UM allowed 1.29 goals per game.
Prior to his time with the Tigers, Parker spent a season apiece at North Texas and Central Oklahoma. Parker served two seasons at Southwestern Christian University after graduating college.
Parker attended Mid-American Christian University, which he helped to an NCCAA National Championship and was a NCCAA All-American. In 2019, he set single-season program records in wins (20), shutouts (13) and goals allowed average (0.9).
