Big Red Wrap Up Final Day of DeLoss Dodds Invitational

Four Husker track and field athletes competed at the final day of the DeLoss Dodds Invitational in Manhattan. 

Ashmika Korala made his collegiate debut finishing ninth in the World Athletics Bronze triple jump with a mark of 15.09m (49-6 ¼). Ronaldo Andrews finished 11th, jumping 14.84m (48-4 ¼). 

On the women’s side, Rhianna Phipps finished in eighth with a mark of 12.89m (42-3 ½).

Jaylee Wingate competed in the women’s mile invite, running 4:51.46, good for a sixth-place finish. 

Nebraska track and field is back home next weekend as they host the 50th annual Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational. Events start at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6th. Admission is free.
