Swim and Dive Collects CSCAA Scholar All-America Award

After a semester of work, the Nebraska swimming and diving team was recognized with a prestigious academic honor in collegiate athletics by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team on Wednesday, Jan. 21.

Led by head coach Pablo Morales, Nebraska was one of 709 teams from 414 institutions across all levels of collegiate swimming and diving to earn the honor for the fall semester of 2025. To qualify for the award, the team must garner a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher during the fall 2025 semester.

The Huskers achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.64 during the fall 2025 semester.

Last spring semester, Nebraska recorded a 3.58, with seven swimmers earning a perfect 4.0. At the university level, the swim and dive team was a women’s Herman Team GPA Award finalist in the 2024-25 season. For three consecutive years (2015, 2016, 2017), Nebraska swimming and diving was awarded the accolade.

NU will complete its regular season at the Devaney Natatorium against Rutgers in a two-day meet honoring the five seniors from Jan. 30-31.
