Nebraska men's tennis announced on Wednesday that they have offically signed Arkansas native Micah Ward and Germany native Vincent Dullinger. Both Ward and Dullinger will join the Big Red in the fall of 2026.

"We are excited to have Micah and Vincent join the program," head coach Peter Kobelt said. "They were both recruits that really stood out during the recruiting process.

"While they both have different styles on the court, we believe they both have the right characteristics that will allow them to be successful on the court, in the classroom and in the community."

Ward, a product of Jayhawk Tennis Academy, is ranked top 10 in the country in both doubles and singles and No. 1 in the Missouri Valley Section. He has partipcated in many junior tournaments throughout the United States including the J30 San Diego, J30 McKinney, J60 Corpus Christi, and the J300 Houston. He found the most success at the J30 San Diego in 2024 where he reached the quarterfinals in singles and lost in the doubles finals of the tournament. He also placed second at national doubles in Orlando. The class of 2026 senior holds an ITF ranking of 2,150.

"I chose Nebraska because of my family connections and because the coaches/people truly want to help me improve," Ward said.

Dullinger is one of Germany's top juniors. In June 2025, he was ranked No. 12 in Germany (U18) and No. 121 in the men's singles rankings, with a UTR of 12.03.

The class of 2025 graduate has competed in many international tournaments since 2022. His junior career is highlighted by two singles title wins. In 2023 he won the J30 Leiman, and in 2024 he won the J60 Singapore. In January 2025, he reached his career-high ITF ranking of 280 and he currently has a ranking of 1,234.

"I chose Nebraska because of the quality of the coaching staff (Peter Kobelt, Brett Forman, Shunya Maruyama) and the passion and professionalism they bring off the court," Dullinger said. “I'm confident this is the best place to develop to my fullest potential on and off the court."
