The Nebraska rifle team jumped up to first place in the latest College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll, jumping past now No. 4 TCU.
NU posted scores of 4,747 and 4,742 over the weekend, taking down then-No. 1 TCU and Schreiner. The Huskers have been rewriting the record books all season, as these scores were good for the second and third-highest team aggregate scores in school history respectively.
Rankings are updated each week and determined by the previous week’s score. The Big Red’s score of 4,747 is currently tied with Kentucky, but Nebraska holds the tiebreaker, as the Huskers’ score includes 353 x-counts compared to the Wildcats’ 340.
