Fall Softball Fan Information

The Nebraska softball team will play a total of six fall games at Bowlin Stadium in October and November. Admission is free for all scrimmages and games and below is a guide to help fans plan for their visit to Bowlin Stadium. Fans are reminded that Nebraska’s clear bag policy will be in effect for all scrimmages and games, and pets are not allowed at Bowlin Stadium.

Fall Games
Schedule: Nebraska will play three games against opponents this weekend at Bowlin Stadium. NU will face Colorado State and Omaha on Saturday, Oct. 11 and will play the Rams again on Sunday, Oct. 12. Saturday’s games are set for 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (CT) and Sunday’s will be played at 11 a.m. (CT). The Big Red will also host three Scarlet vs. Cream scrimmages on Oct. 22, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5, all of which are Wednesdays. All three scrimmages are set for 5:30 p.m. (CT). 

The schedule is below. Fans are reminded that previous games may run late which could delay the scheduled start time for games later in the day.

Saturday, Oct. 11
Nebraska vs. Colorado State, 11 a.m.
Nebraska vs. Omaha, 1:30 p.m.
Omaha vs. Colorado State, 4 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 12
Nebraska vs. Colorado State, 11 a.m.

Saturday, Oct. 18
Nebraska at Kansas, 1 p.m.
Nebraska at Kansas, 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 22
Scarlet vs. Cream, 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 29
Scarlet vs. Cream, 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 5
Scarlet vs. Cream, 5:30 p.m.

Free Admission: There will be no charge for fans to attend any of the fall exhibition games, including non-Nebraska games. Since all games are free, fans may select any available seats to watch the scrimmages. Seating options include plastic chairback seats, metal bleacher seating and grass berm seating. All seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gates to Bowlin Stadium will open 60 minutes prior to the first game of the day. 

Concessions: Concessions and alcohol will be sold for the exhibition games. The concession stand at Bowlin Stadium is located behind home plate, near the main entrance. Since concessions are available, fans are not allowed to bring any food or drink into the stadium.

Autographs: Nebraska’s players and coaches will hold an autograph session immediately following the game on Sunday, Oct. 12. Autographs will take place in right field. Fans are limited to one item per person.
