The Nebraska baseball program announced the 2026 schedule on Wednesday morning. The Huskers will play 56 games, including 23 home games at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.
The announced portion of the 2026 slate includes 19 games against eight 2025 NCAA Tournament participants in Auburn, Creighton, Florida State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Oregon and USC.
The Huskers begin the 2026 campaign in a marquee event, as the Huskers compete in the MLB Desert Invitational on Feb. 13-16 in Scottsdale, Ariz. Other competing teams and matchups will be announced at a later date.
The Big Red play in a premier event for the third consecutive season, where the Huskers are set to face Louisville, Kansas State and Florida State at the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field (Feb. 20-22).
In the final weekend of non-conference action, Nebraska travels for a three-game set at Auburn (Feb. 27-March 1) before coming home for a five-game homestand.
The Huskers welcome Omaha (March 3) and South Dakota State (March 4) in back-to-back midweek tilts and open Big Ten play with a home series against Michigan State (March 6-8).
The Big Red step out of Big Ten action with seven consecutive non-conference matchups, including a midweek trip to Missouri State (March 10-11), a home series vs. Maine (March 13-15) and a two-game set at Wichita State (March 17-18).
Nebraska visits Michigan (March 20-22) and Kansas State (March 24) ahead of a home series against Indiana (March 27-29) and a midweek matchup at Creighton (March 31).
NU welcomes Penn State (April 3-5) and Kansas (April 7) to Lincoln to begin the month of April before venturing northwest for a three-game series at Oregon (April 10-12).
The Huskers host Creighton (April 14) and USC (April 17-19) at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park ahead of road trips to Kansas (April 21) and Illinois (April 24-26).
The Big Red end April with a midweek matchup vs. Kansas State (April 28) and begin the month of May with a three-game series at Ohio State (May 1-3) before playing the final home series of the season vs. Iowa (May 8-10).
The Huskers conclude the regular season with a midweek tilt at Creighton (May 12) and a visit to Minnesota (May 14-16) in the final weekend of Big Ten play.
Charles Schwab Field in Omaha will be the setting for the Big Ten Tournament for the ninth time, having previously been the site in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2022-24.
