Huskers Set to Compete at World Athletics Championships

Past and current members of the Nebraska track and field program are set to compete at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo from Sept. 14-21. 

Tyus Wilson (USA) will start things off in the men's high jump on Sept. 14-16. Keyshawn Strachan (Bahamas) will compete in the men's javelin Sept. 17-18, and former Husker Rhema Otabor (Bahamas) is set to begin the women's javelin on Sept. 19-20. 

Mine De Klerk (South Africa) and Axelina Johansson (Sweden) will participate in the women's shot put on Sept. 20. Till Steinforth (Germany) is in the men's decathlon, set for Sept. 20-21. Former Husker Nick Percy will compete in the men's discus on Sept. 20-21.
