The Nebraska women's basketball team claimed special mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association as one of the top performing teams in the Big Ten Conference for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Huskers, who earned their third trip to the NCAA Tournament in the past four seasons, posted a program-best 3.579 grade-point average during the year. Nebraska's cumulative combined GPA under Coach Amy Williams was the second-highest in the 18-team Big Ten, trailing only a 3.597 GPA by Illinois. Nebraska's team GPA ranked 10th among the 68 teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament and 39th among the more than 360 NCAA Division I women's basketball schools.
Overall, 115 NCAA Division I women's basketball programs were recognized by the WBCA for carrying a 3.0 GPA or better for the 2024-25 academic year.
