Robinson Picked in Fourth Round by Philadelphia Eagles

Nebraska defensive lineman Ty Robinson was the first Husker taken off the board on Saturday, as he was a fourth-round selection (No. 111 overall) by the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Robinson is the highest drafted Husker since 2022.

Robinson has been an anchor of the Blackshirts defensive front for the past several seasons, earning All-Big Ten accolades each of his final two seasons at Nebraska. In 2024, Robinson earned second-team all-conference honors when he led the team with seven sacks and 12 tackles for loss among his 37 overall tackles.  A disruptive force, Robinson also had four pass breakups, a blocked field goal and a tackle for loss for a safety.

In 2023, Robinson had 29 tackles, six pass breakups and four tackles for loss. He added 11 quarterback hurries and a blocked field goal and earned honorable-mention all-conference honors.  In 2022, he started all 12 games with 24 tackles, including four tackles for loss, and a pair of sacks.  Robinson finished his career with 134 tackles, including 26.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. He played in a school-record 60 games during his Nebraska career with 47 career starts.

The NFL Draft continues this afternoon with rounds 4-7.
