Written byShamus McKnight

Keisei Tominaga will be in action during All-Star Weekend, as the former Husker was selected to the NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T.

Tominaga will join former Husker Bryce McGowens, who was selected Tuesday as part of the Castrol Rising Stars event during NBA All-Star 2025 in San Francisco.

The NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T will be held as part of NBA All-Star 2025 in San Francisco. The event will take place on Sunday, February 16th at NBA Crossover in the Moscone Center.  Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m. (central) and will be seen on Tubi and the G League App.

Tominaga was added to the player pool via the fan vote, finishing 10th among all players in voting.  Tominaga appeared in 11 games during the Tip-Off Tournament and has appeared in three games during the regular season for the Indiana Mad Ants, the Pacers’ G League team.

Tominaga spent the past three seasons at Nebraska, totaling 1,074 points to rank 30th on Nebraska’s career scoring list while finishing seventh on NU’s career 3-point list with 178. A two-time All-Big Ten honoree, he enjoyed his best season in 2023-24, averaging 15.1 points per game while posting career highs in nearly every offensive category enroute to second-team All-Big Ten honors.  His efforts helped Nebraska to a 23-11 record in 2023-24, a third-place Big Ten finish and the school’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014.

The game will feature a tournament-style format with four teams of seven players. The 28 players will be drafted by four influencer GMs with some help from NBA G League coaches.
