Nebraska track and field opened the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. Thursday night with three runners competing in the steeplechase.
In the women’s 3000m steeplechase, Taya Skelton clocked a 10:41.93 to finish 26th and Cami Merickel crossed the line at 10:44.46 to finish 33rd. Sadio Fenner placed 40th in the men’s 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:07.34.
Running events start back up tomorrow at 9 a.m. (CT).
