Master Sergeant Daniel Sanders

Master Sergeant Daniel Sanders, a native of Bloomington, Minnesota, who served in the United States Air Force, was the POW/MIA Chair Sentinel on November 23, 2024 for the Husker Football game against Wisconsin. 

Master Sergeant Daniel Sanders enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduating high school in 1971. He trained to become a missile system analyst specialist and later had a leadership role with the Strategic Air Command at Offutt Air Force base in Bellevue, Nebraska.

During his career, he was awarded four meritorious service medals and three air force commendation medals. Master Sergeant Sanders and his wife Roberta currently reside in Nebraska and celebrated their 52nd anniversary this year.
