Fan Information for Friday and Saturday Husker Home Events

Nebraska Athletics will be hosting home events in wrestling, track and field and men’s tennis as scheduled on Friday and Saturday.  Fans are encouraged to be cognizant of the winter weather conditions and road conditions if they choose to attend one of the Husker home events.

City of Lincoln road crews are actively working to clear roads in and around Lincoln throughout the day on Friday, but please drive with caution and reduced speeds, especially as fans approach the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The “Big X” bridge intersection at Salt Creek Roadway and Antelope Valley Parkway adjacent to Bob Devaney Sports Center is a specific location to use caution as traffic increase and road conditions could be more impacted.

Facility crews are working to clear parking lots around the Bob Devaney Sports Center. After parking, fans are encouraged to proceed with caution as they approach venue entry points. Facility teams are working to ensure lots, sidewalks, ramps, and other access points are cleared and accessible but with today’s weather conditions, there could still be drifting and slick spots.

Once again, we remind Husker fans who make the decision to come out to support our teams to be safe when leaving your home, traveling to the venue, entering and exiting the building and on your return home.
