Horn Named West Coast League All-Star

Ty Horn has been selected to play in the West Coast League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 19 at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham, Wash.

Horn has helped the Corvallis Knights to a WCL South Division-leading 23-5 record this summer and is one of seven Knights to earn all-star recognition.

The Halstead, Kan., native is 1-0 with one save and a 1.20 ERA while making five appearances on the mound, including three starts. Horn has allowed just two earned runs across 15 innings and has totaled 17 punchouts with the Knights this summer.

In his freshman campaign with the Huskers in the spring, Horn went 1-1 with a 5.91 ERA in 13 appearances on the mound, including four starts. The freshman recorded 19 punchouts in 21.1 innings in his first season with the Huskers.
