Big Ten Announces Future Tournament Sites

The Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament will return to Indianapolis for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, the conference announced on Wednesday, July 31.

The 2025 TIAA Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis is scheduled for March 5-9 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, before the tournament returns to Indianapolis again March 4-8, 2026. Indianapolis has been the host of 27 previous Big Ten women's basketball tournaments.

The conference also announced locations and dates for the 2027 (T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, March 3-7) and 2028 (Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, March 1-5) tournaments, alongside its announcement of the dates and locations of the men's basketball tournament for the next four seasons.

The Nebraska women's basketball team advanced to the 2024 Big Ten Championship Game at the Target Center in Minneapolis, which marked the second straight season the conference tournament was held in the Twin Cities.

The Huskers advanced to the semifinals in the most recent Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis in 2022.
