Two current Huskers and one former Husker swam at the 2024 Speedo Aquatics GB Swimming Championships April 2-7. The event, hosted at the London Aquatics Centre on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, served as the Olympic Trials for Great Britain.
Shannon Stott, 2023 University of Nebraska graduate, competed in the 200m butterfly Paris Final. The St. Albans, Great Britain-native hit a new personal-best time of 2:11.87 to finish fourth. In the 100m butterfly Paris Final, Stott placed seventh with a 1:00.45. She added a 400m freestyle B final appearance, clocking a 4:17.45 to place third.
Current Nebraska junior Maia Hall swam in the 200m breaststroke, 200 IM and 100 breaststroke B finals. She finished second in the 200m breaststroke with a personal-best 2:31.38, fifth in the 200 IM with a 2:19.20 and fifth in the 100m breaststroke with a 1:10.91.
Amelia Riggott, a freshman on Nebraska's squad, swam in the 100m breaststroke on Sunday.
