The Nebraska bowling team remained at No. 6 in the latest 2024 NTCA March poll released on Thursday.
Although no tournament title to hoist, the Huskers hold a 79-36 season win/loss record and currently sit No. 4 in the nation in RPI rankings, which ultimately decide placements for teams in the postseason.
This is the Huskers first season without a regular season tournament title since their most recent National Championship in 2021. Nebraska finished the season with double runner-up finishes at the Stormin' Blue and White Vegas Classic and Flyer Classic, and added a pair of third-place finishes at the SFA Ladyjack Classic and Motiv Penguin Classic.
The Big Red received a total of 1,416 points. Jacksonville State continues its streak in first place with a total of 1,977 points. Arkansas State moved back into the second-place rank with 1,820 points while the previous No. 2 seed Youngstown State dropped down to No. 3. Vanderbilt and North Carolina A&T rounded out the top five with Vandy at 1,660 and NCAT at 1,548.
Up next, the Huskers await their fate for the 2024 National Championship selection show in hopes of continuing their journey for a NCAA title.
