The Nebraska men's and women's basketball programs will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this week during home games at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The Husker women's basketball team will tip the week off by wearing special shooting shirts in warmups prior to its game against Michigan on Wednesday at 7 p.m. (CT). A pregame video recognizing the significance of King's work will run prior to the National Anthem, and slides with images and quotes from Dr. King also will be displayed on the HuskerVision screens during the game.
Similar displays will come during the Nebraska men's basketball game against Northwestern on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. (CT).
