Current Husker wrestler and Omaha native Antrell Taylor (70 kg) is set to compete at the 2023 U20 Pan-American Championships in Santiago, Chile, July 8.
Taylor, Nebraska’s 2022-23 Redshirt of the Year, wrapped up last season with a 5-3 record overall and most recently finished second in the U20 Freestyle division at the 2023 U.S. Open.
Action will begin Saturday, July 8, at 9 a.m. CT with qualifying rounds and consolation. The finals and awards ceremonies will follow at 4 p.m. CT. The draws have been released, and Taylor will face Paraguay’s Joao Maldonado Romero in the opening round.
