Nebraska closed the 2023 CSCAA National Invitational Championships in 14th place out of over 50 teams with 235 total points.
Gabby Donahue earned NU's fourth top-five finish of the week, clocking a 55.71 in the 100 IM final to capture fourth.
Sarah Barton pitched in a 2:00.63 in the 200 butterfly to place 11th. The junior from Huntersville, N.C. added a sixth-place finish in the 400 IM (4:18.34) and an eighth-place finish in the 200 IM (2:02.30) over the past two days.
JoJo Randby swam a 2:16.29 in the 200 breaststroke to place 23rd. On Thursday, Randby finished fourth in the 50 breaststroke with a 28.13. She followed that up with another fourth-place finish on Friday in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.99).
Caitlin Cairns and Giulia Marchi teamed up with Donahue and Randby in the 400 freestyle relay to place 21st in 3:24.35.
Nebraska divers' scores from the NCAA Zone Championships were added to the team score at the end of competition.
Gena Jorgenson and Kelsey Clairmont are set to continue their seasons March 15-18 at the 2023 NCAA Championships, hosted in Knoxville, Tenn.
