Nebraska Ranked No. 2 in Big Ten Preseason Poll

The Nebraska Men's Gymnastics team was ranked No. 2 for the second consecutive year in the Big Ten preseason coaches poll released on Wednesday.

Michigan leads the Big Ten as the No. 1 ranked team in the division for the 2023 season as the defending Big Ten Champions. The Wolverines finished 3-1 in the conference for regular season standings in 2022. 

Behind No. 2 ranked Huskers follows Ohio State, Penn State and Illinois accordingly to round out the top five. 

Nebraska is set to open the 2023 season at the West Point Open on Friday, Jan 13 at 7:00 pm CT in West Point, New York where they will compete against Army, Navy, William and Mary, Penn State, and Springfield College.

The Big Red's Donte McKinney and Taylor Christopulos each earned a spot on the Big Ten Players to Watch List. Christopulos was named to the list for a second consecutive season, following his nomination in 2022.
