On changes Mickey Jospeh has made
“Obviously when he stepped in that role he had some different words for us I would say. A different style of defense. We are going to change some things up. We did a few different things in practice. Obviously the practice schedule is a bit different with Coach Joseph and kind of what Busch wants from the defense. Those are the biggest things I would say.”
On what needs to improve on the run defense
“Obviously it has not been what we wanted it to be. If you look at it, it is usually just one person out of their gap or one person did something wrong. Usually that is what we are finding with this and we just kind of need to tighten up and just kind of do our own job. If everyone does their own job everything will work out perfect for us. I think that has kind of been our emphasis. Just do your job. Everyone has to do their job.”
On whether the defensive struggle is from assignment misses or getting beat physically
“I would say it is a combination. I think people usually know where they are supposed to be. It is just whether they get there or maybe they did not know where they were supposed to be. That is kind of a thing. Maybe we had some checks that a lot of stuff was running through our head and stuff. Where do we need to be on this? Where do we need to be on that? I think Busch is trying to condense that stuff down and make it more simple for us so we may have less calls and stuff like that.”
