On them throwing things at the defensive line:
“Yeah that was about what was planned for it. They pretty much almost all did quick games. (Kyle) Vantrease did a good job getting the ball out of his hands. When he does drop back you saw what happened but when you get it out quick it's tough to get that rush and get that pressure on him to affect that throw. As the defensive line you got to get your hands up. We knew that coming in so it's got to make him nervous but he did a good job getting the ball out of his hands and getting to his playmakers.”
On tempo of the game:
“We knew they were gonna go tempo. We planned for the tempo and knew they're gonna go tempo after running their first play.”
On talking to his players:
“It's a tough loss. Not what you want but we have 10 more games left. As a leader I just need to keep a steady drumbeat and keep coming back to work and do the same thing. I don't need to change my attitude of what we're doing. Just be Garrett.”
On what goes on in his head when he may or may not hear boos and chants:
“I do not really listen to it. The only people that matter are the people in this building.”
On getting the defense back on track:
“Like I said we have to watch the tape and understand why we missed today and where we are at. Our coaches do a good job at getting us right. So we just need to be honest with ourselves and be the hardest critiques.”
