The Nebraska track and field team wrapped up the regular season with the Ward Haylett Invitational in Manhattan, Kan., on Saturday. The Huskers collected five individual event titles on the final day of the meet.
Madison Yerigan won the women's high jump, clearing 5-9 1/4 (1.76m). Ieva Turke brought home the long jump gold, leaping 19-9 3/4 (6.04m). Passmore Mudundulu won the men's long jump title with a jump of 23-7 1/4 (7.19m),
On the track, Joseph Clifford won the men's 400-meter hurdles after a PR of 53.84. Audrey Freyhof was the 3,000-meter steeplechase champion with a time of 11:26.33.
The Huskers will turn their attention to the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, set for next Friday-Sunday in Minneapolis, Minn. The Huskers currently have 13 student-athletes ranked in the top three of a Big Ten event heading into the conference meet.
