Lincoln – The Nebraska bowling team makes the journey to Dallas, Texas this weekend to compete in the Prairie View Invitational from January 28th - 30th.
The teams competing this weekend include 11 of the top 20 ranked teams in the NTCA poll. Nebraska is joined by No.1 Sam Houston, No. 2 McKendree, No. 4 North Carolina A&T, No. 5 Vanderbilt, No. 6 Arkansas St, No. 7 Louisiana Tech, No. 8 Youngstown St, No 13. Tulane, No. 15 Fairleigh Dickinson, No. 19 Sacred Heart, and Prairie View A&M.
"The team has been practicing well and is ready for the event this weekend in Dallas," said Head Coach Klempa. "This event includes several of the top programs in the country and is an excellent test of where everyone measures up at this point in the season. We are excited to return to competition and for the challenge that this tournament presents."
The tournament begins Friday at 12:15 p.m. with five Baker-style matches with Saturday's schedule having five Traditional-style matches starting at 9:25 a.m. and concluding on Sunday at 8:25 a.m. with one final Traditional match before bracket play begins.
