The Nebraska women's basketball game at Michigan State has moved to a 2 p.m. (CT) tip and has been added to the Big Ten Network television schedule, the conference announced on Monday morning.
The Huskers (12-0, 1-0 Big Ten), one of five remaining unbeaten teams in NCAA Division I women's basketball, were originally scheduled to take on the Spartans at the Breslin Center in East Lansing at 1 p.m., in a game with no live television coverage.
The Big Ten Conference and the Big Ten Network requested the one-hour slide in the original game time and added the contest to accommodate the move to BTN. It will become Nebraska's third game on BTN this season and sets up a run of Husker games on BTN and the Fox family of networks to open conference play.
The Huskers tipped league play with a 70-67 victory at Minnesota (Dec. 6) in a game televised by BTN. NU, which also defeated Missouri Valley Conference contender Drake on BTN (Dec. 19), will take on top-10 Michigan at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 4 on BTN at 8 p.m. The Big Red battle nationally ranked Iowa on FS1 on Sunday, Jan. 9, before hitting the road for back-to-back games at nationally ranked Indiana (Jan. 13) and Iowa (Jan. 16). Both those road games also will be televised by BTN.
