Huskers Finish Strong At All-American Tournament

Tulsa, Okla.- The Nebraska men's tennis team finished the ITA All-American Tournament with an impressive showing, winning four of its five matches Sunday.

Senior Dario Huber captured his first win as a Husker as he defeated Toldeo's Marko Galic 6-4, 6-4. He wraps up his first fall weekend with a 1-1 record in singles play. Fellow senior Patrick Cacciatore also came out on top in his match Sunday, winning decisively 6-0, 6-0. Junior Shunya Maruyama and sophomore Rudra Dixit both got back on track with a win to wrap up the weekend after losing their opening contests in Tulsa.

Senior Brandon Perez fell just short Sunday, dropping his match to UAB's Roman Postolka 6-1, 6-2.

Senior William Gleason competed Saturday and captured the lone win for the Huskers as he knocked off UTSA's Javier Gonzalez 5-7, 6-2 [20-18]. The Lincoln, Neb. native lost in the second round to Oral Robert's Volodymyr Zakharov 6-4, 6-3.
