#ProBigRed: Huskers in the NFL - Week 1

13 former Huskers saw action in the opening weekend of the NFL last weekend, with Jack Stoll (Eagles and Matt Farniok (Cowboys) making their NFL debut.

Farniok and Nick Gates (Giants) saw action last weekend to represent the Husker pipeline while Rex Burkhead (Texans) had a six-yard reception in the season-opening win vs. Jacksonville.

Defensively, Lavonte David led the way with 11 tackles and a pass deflection while teammate Ndamukong Suh had a tackle in the victory vs. Dallas. Carlos Davis (Steelers) and Maliek Collins (Texans) had one tackle apiece in their respective season openers and Randy Gregory (Cowboys) posted a tackle and a fumble recovery at Tampa Bay.

On special teams, Sam Koch led the way, punting four times and averaging 44.8 yards per punt for the Baltimore Ravens.
