The Nebraska men's tennis team (0-11, 0-11 Big Ten) will play Iowa (4-9, 4-7 Big Ten) in Lincoln this Sunday, April 4, at Noon CT. Attendance is now open with free admission to the general public for the first time this season.

Scouting Iowa
• The Hawkeyes closed the 2020 spring season with a 12-2 record overall, a 1-0 record in Big Ten competition and wins over Louisville, Drake and Wichita State
• Ross Wilson, Iowa's head coach and former two-time NCAA All-American and three-time ITA national doubles champion, is entering his sixth year as leader of the squad.
• Iowa is entering Sunday's match on a five-game losing streak. 

Series History
• Iowa leads the all-time series 9-4, with the first matchup resulting in a 4-3 win for Iowa in the 2002-2003 season.
• Most recently, the Huskers triumphed the Hawkeyes on March 11, 2016, 4-3.

Doubles Duo Breaks into ITA Rankings
• Junior Brandon Perez and sophomore Albert Sprlak-Puk are currently ranked No. 74 in the ITA Doubles rankings.
• Perez and Sprlak-Puk started the 2021 season with a win against Minnesota's Siim Troost and Vlad Lobak.  

Perez/Moreno Record First Win of the Season
• Brandon Perez and Victor Moreno Lozano have teamed up three times this season in the No.1 doubles position. 
• Perez and Moreno recorded their first win of the season against Penn State's Charl Morgan and Tim Ruetzel.
 
Nebraska Will Host Big Ten Tennis Championships
• Nebraska will host the Big Ten Championships at the Sid Dillon Tennis Center April 29 – May 2.  
• The Big Ten Conference has also announced public ticket sales will be allowed at the event.
