On the win on Saturday:
"Yeah I mean you know winning makes everything better so everything went through fine. Maybe so much better for us. Ended up back towards the end grinding out that win sticking together. Following the course. At the end of the day we stayed on. We got our first win of the season and I will try to keep this thing rolling."
On the coverage at the end of the game:
"I was very proud of you know that's what we expect. Whatever color we get we want to ask you to get through our ability. When its man coverage and we got a chance to put it on us to get that call from upstairs. They give it to us on the field and they tell us to go out on man coverage and lock it up. We live for those moments. Our room is very prideful in that. We understood that we had to do our part in order for us to win the game. The guys building a lot of confidence in the room from everybody. Guys that were in the game at that point and the guys that were on the sideline cheering us on. It just doesn’t stop there. Keep on working hard."
On the third year in the system:
"Yeah I mean anytime you can get so many reps just in a specific way. Learn so much just from doing the same. Increase repetition is always going to pay off especially if you build the right intent because at the end of the day we just got to read Marquis. Yeah definitely being in the third year of the system helps."
On winning two conference games in a row:
"We just got to keep on coming in every day working. But we have to be mindful of the opponent. We just have to think of the one this week. Lean on that one. Make sure we are prepared for this one as well as we can."
On the focus on the start of the game:
'We just knew it was something that we needed to do is the point of emphasis for us. We know that if we can play good sound defense that good things will happen. So we just continue to rally around each other. Just understand that things may happen. Whether that be the first drive of the game of the second half. The emphasis on the little things to hopefully help us come out victorious."
On Coach Chinander and Coach Fisher:
"I would say no particular change. They’ve been themselves throughout this whole thing throughout basically the time they’ve been here. They’ve been themselves. Every day they try to do their best to help us succeed and do their best to put us in the best situation possible at the end of the day. So I wouldn’t say that anything in particular but they’re very passionate about what they do. They’ve very passionate about making that we’re in the best position possible."
On building off the win:
"Yeah I mean like I said winning makes everything better so actually the guys are going to feel better. You might be banged up after a win feels a lot better than being banged up after a loss. Regardless we still got a lot to learn from that film. Nothing was perfect in that film. Those are the things you know we learn the lessons in a win. Those are the things that are going to help us continue win whether we take those lessons and make it work."
