Nebraska volleyball senior defensive specialist Hayley Densberger was honored as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar on Wednesday, the conference office announced.
Densberger was one of 12 volleyball student-athletes in the Big Ten Conference to achieve a 4.0 GPA in the 2019-20 academic year. A native of Malcolm, Nebraska, Densberger is majoring in psychology and has a cumulative 3.91 GPA. She is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
To be eligible for selection, students must be a recipient of Academic All-Big Ten Recognition in the previous academic year, must have been enrolled full-time at the institution for the entire previous academic year (two semesters or three quarters) and earned a minimum GPA of 3.70 or better during the previous academic year (excluding any summer grades).
