Three Huskers Earn Academic All-Big Ten

Three members of the Nebraska men's golf team were awarded Academic All-Big Ten the Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday. Juniors Patrick Clare and Daniel Pearson along with senior Tanner Owen were awarded for their work in the classroom as finance majors.

This will be the second time Clare has been selected as a member of Academic All-Big Ten after being a recipient in 2019. For Pearson, this was his second time being honored by the Big Ten for his work in the classroom. This is the third straight year Owen has been a selected for Academic All-Big Ten.

Student-athletes must be enrolled in an institution full-time for a minimum of 12 months and have a cumulative grade-point of average of 3.0 or higher to be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten.
