Huskers Sign Connecticut Native

The Nebraska rifle team will welcome a talented new member to its ranks for the 2020-21 season. Kayley Pasko comes to the Huskers from Collinsville, CT, and will look to make an immediate impact in her debut season.

Pasko brings an impressive shooting resume to Nebraska. She currently competes for the Metacon Junior Rife Team sponsored by the Metacon Gun Club in Simsbury, Connecticut. The head coach is Bob Ronstrom and Pasko is coached by Lucas Kozeniesky. Pasko also shoots as part of the Niantic TEN-X Terrors sponsored by the Niantic sportsman's club in Niantic, Connecticut. The program is coached by Lisette Grunwell-Lacey. 

Pasko has earned numerous honors and awards during her shooting career so far. She has been on the CSRRA CT All-State team for five consecutive years and auto-qualified for the Junior Olympics in 2019 and 2020. Pasko won the 2019 state Junior Olympics gold medal in air rifle and took silver in smallbore. She earned the gold in NRA Metric at 2019 Sectionals, and was first in smallbore and third in air rifle at the 2019 Palmyra Invitational. In 2018 Pasko was the ASSA 3P Intermediate Junior Champion.

At Canton High School, Pasko was an Honor Roll student.
