#ProBigRed: Huskers in the NFL - Week 14

Several Huskers made an impact in Week 14 of the 2019 NFL season.

Alex Lewis (Jets) and Richie Incognito (Raiders) were the most product Huskers offensively in the NFL last weekend. Lewis assisted the Jets in piling up 382 yards offensively (270 yards passing, 112 yards rushing), while Incognito helped the Raiders roll up 360 yards on offense (263 yards through the air and 97 yards on the ground). Both Lewis and Incognito started at left guard on their respective teams and played in the entire game.

Lavonte David (Buccaneers) was the top Blackshirt in the NFL and was responsible for six tackles and one quarterback hurry against the Colts on Sunday. David started at linebacker and was in the entire game defensively.

Sam Koch (Ravens) was the special teams standout, punting seven times for 309 yards, averaging 44.1 yards per punt. His longest punt of the day was 57 yards, recording one touchback and pinning the Bills inside their own 20 on two occasions.

Brett Maher (Cowboys) was the leading scorer for the Huskers in the NFL and was responsible for scoring six points against the Bears on Thursday. Maher went 1-2 on field goals, connecting on a 31-yarder and going 3-for-3 on extra points.

OL Spencer Long: Participated in three plays on special teams.

   
   

New England Patriots (L, 23-16 vs. Chiefs)
RB Rex Burkhead: Rushed seven times for 15 yards and recorded two tackles on special teams. Burkhead was in for 65 percent of the special team opportunities and also saw the field for 27 percent of the teams' offensive snaps.



   

New York Jets (W, 22-21 vs. Dolphins)
WR Quincy Enunwa: Did Not Play (IR)

OL Alex Lewis: Started at left guard and played the entire game, while also participating in five snaps on special teams. Lewis helped the Jets rack up 270 yards through the air and 112 yards on the ground.

G Brent Qvale: Did Not Play (IR)

Oakland Raiders (L, 42-21 vs. Titans)
OL Richie Incognito: Started at left guard and was in for every offensive snap, while also seeing the field for three plays on special teams. Incognito assisted the Raiders in picking up 263 yards passing and 97 yards rushing.

LB Will Compton: Competed in 57 percent of the plays on special teams and also saw the field for 26 percent of the defensive opportunities. Compton registered three tackles defensively.

TE Cethan Carter: Participated in 81 percent of the plays on special teams and was also in for nine offensive snaps. Carter recorded one tackle on special teams.

WR Stanley Morgan Jr.: Participated in 62 percent of the plays on special teams and 31 percent of the offensive opportunities.

Jacksonville Jaguars (L, 45-10 vs. Chargers)
RB Devine Ozigbo: Participated in 54 percent of the special team plays.

CB Joshua Kalu: Played in 18 special team snaps and recorded one tackle.

Dallas Cowboys (L, 31-24 at Bears) - Thursday
DT Maliek Collins: Started at defensive tackle and played the entire game, while also participating in five special team opportunities. Collins registered one tackle defensively.

LB Luke Gifford: Saw the field for 53 percent of the plays on special teams and recorded a tackle.

K Brett Maher: Responsible for six points, connecting on a 31-yard field goal and going 3-for-3 on extra points.

LB Nathan Gerry: Started at outside linebacker, recording four total tackles. Played in over 60 percent of defensive plays and 88 percent of special team snaps.
