Terre Haute, Ind. - Sophomore George Kusche wrapped up his cross country season on a cold, rainy day at the NCAA Championships on Saturday morning. Kusche finished the 10K race in 165th-place with a time of 32:31.1.
By competing today, Kusche became the first Husker to represent Nebraska at the NCAA Championships on the men's side in back-to-back seasons since James Bowler in 2001 and 2002. Kusche automatically qualified for the national meet for the second consecutive season by finishing seventh at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday, Nov. 15.
