Kenosha, Wis. - The Huskers finished day two of the SFA LadyJack Classic with a record of 3-2 to earn the number four seed for Sunday's bracket play. Nebraska had a pinfall of 4,998 to give them a two day total pinfall of 10,033.
The Huskers took the first game of the day over Elmhurst (1,025-820). After falling to Adelphi (976-1,020), the Huskers bounced back to beat Upper Iowa (1,002-808). Nebraska went 1-1 to finish their last two matches of the day taking Maryville (1,007-854) and losing to McKendree (988-1,059).
Individual play began today with Raquel Orozco leading the Huskers in eight place with a pinfall of 1,065. Behind her sits Leah Glazer in 14th (1,037), Allison Morris in 20th (1,013), Michelle Guarro in 32nd (981), Cassidy Ray in 71st (534), and Amara Smith-Speights in 79th (368). Kendyl Hofmeister and Estefania Prieto did not partake in individual match play.
Tournament play will begin at 8:30 tomorrow morning where the Huskers will face off against Vanderbilt.
