Huskers Enter CRCA Top Five

Lincoln, Neb. - The Husker Rifle team entered the top five of the CRCA rankings this week for the first time this season, coming in at No. 5. The ranking came after the Huskers' impressive defeat of Army West Point on Nov. 9. NU recorded its highest team score of 2019-20 so far against the Black Knights, winning the match 4,677-4,639.

The CRCA rankings are published weekly throughout the season. Kentucky took the top spot for this week, followed by West Virginia, TCU and Air Force. The Huskers and Akron tied for the fifth spot. NU jumped nine spots from last week's ranking, when the Huskers were No. 14. Army dropped from No. 6 to No. 15 after losing to Nebraska.

The Huskers next compete on Nov. 16 in Fort Worth, Texas, against Memphis and TCU.
