LAWRENCE, Kan. – Following a pair of weather delays and constant storms in the area, the Nebraska cross country team decided not run at the Rim Rock Classic, originally scheduled for Saturday morning. Another storm cell is headed towards Lawrence and it was decided it would be in the best interest of the student-athletes to not run in the meet.
Instead of competing at the Rim Rock Classic, Nebraska will head to Auburn High School in Nebraska to do time trials with Nebraska Wesleyan.
Nebraska will resume cross country action on Saturday, Oct. 19 with the Under Armour Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. (CT).
