The Nebraska soccer team aims to continue its momentum from last weekend when the Huskers hit the road to meet Minnesota and No. 10 Wisconsin this week.

The Huskers make their second TV appearance of the season on Thursday when they visit the Golden Gophers (2-10-3, 1-5-1 Big Ten) on ESPNU. The match, set for 4 p.m. (CT), will be played at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium in St. Paul, Minn.

Nebraska battles the Badgers (10-2-1, 6-0-0 Big Ten) on Sunday, starting at 1 p.m. (CT), at McClimon Track/Soccer Complex in Madison, Wis. The match will be streamed live on BTN+ (subscription required to watch).

Last Time Out
The Huskers earned four points in the conference standings with a win and a tie at home last weekend. Meg Brandt scored two goals against Maryland to help NU post a 2-0 win over the Terrapins on Friday night. On Sunday, the Huskers tied No. 21 Rutgers, 1-1.

Next Up
The Huskers host Penn State in their regular-season finale on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Hibner Stadium. Nebraska's Senior Day ceremony will be held before the game, set to kick off at 1:05 p.m. (CT).

• The Huskers are tied for sixth in the Big Ten standings with Indiana and Northwestern at 10 points (3-4-1 record). The top eight teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the Big Ten Tournament.

• Nebraska is ranked 90th in the latest RPI, released by the NCAA on Monday. The Huskers will face their third top-10 opponent of the season when they meet RPI No. 8 Wisconsin on Sunday. NU has already played No. 4 USC, No. 10 Clemson and No. 14 Kansas. NU's strength of schedule ranks 32nd nationally.

• Nebraska's devoted fan base has continued its strong attendance numbers at Hibner Stadium this season. In eight home games this season, NU has welcomed 7,340 fans, an average of 918 per contest. This average ranks 26th nationally and second in the Big Ten, behind only Penn State (1,415). NU has ranked in the top 25 nationally and in the top two of the Big Ten in average attendance during all four years at Hibner Stadium.

Scouting the Minnesota Golden Gophers
• Minnesota is 2-10-3 this season and sits tied for 13th in the Big Ten standings with a 1-5-1 conference record. Minnesota's two wins came against NC State (Sept. 12) and Ohio State (Sept. 29).

• In this week's RPI, the Golden Gophers are ranked 136th.

• Last season, Minnesota went 12-9-2 overall and tied for seventh in the Big Ten with a 5-5-1 mark in conference play. The Gophers captured the Big Ten Tournament crown to earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament, where they advanced to the second round.

• The all-time series between Nebraska and Minnesota is tied at 7-7-0, dating back to the first meeting between the schools in 1996. Minnesota has won each of the last five meetings, dating back to 2014.

Scouting the Wisconsin Badgers
• Wisconsin is 10-2-1 this season and holds a 6-0-0 record in conference play. The Badgers are the lone undefeated team in the Big Ten, but their 18-point total is one behind first-place Michigan (19). Wisconsin has shut out each of its last four opponents.

• Wisconsin hosts Iowa on Friday night before facing Nebraska on Sunday.

• In this week's RPI, Wisconsin is ranked No. 8. In the United Soccer Coaches Poll, the Badgers are ranked 10th. 

• Last season, Wisconsin went 14-4-4 overall and qualified for the NCAA Tournament, where the Badgers advanced to the third round. UW tied for third in the Big Ten with a 6-2-3 mark.

• The all-time series between Nebraska and Wisconsin is tied, 4-4-2. The Badgers are on a four-game unbeaten streak in the series with three wins and a tie.
