The Nebraska soccer team (1-4-2) opens Big Ten play this weekend when the Huskers travel to face Purdue (4-2-1) and Indiana (4-3-0).
The Huskers and Boilermakers square off Friday at 6 p.m. (CT) at Folk Field in West Lafayette, Ind. On Sunday, NU battles the Hoosiers, starting at noon (CT), at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. Both matches will be streamed live on BTN+ with a subscription required to watch.
Last Time Out
The Huskers played Oklahoma to a scoreless draw on Friday night before falling to Gonzaga, 2-1, on Sunday at Hibner Stadium.
Next Up
The Huskers return home next weekend to host Northwestern on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. (CT) on the Big Ten Network. On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Huskers host Illinois, starting at 1:05 p.m., at Hibner Stadium.

• During each of the first four years at Hibner Stadium, the Huskers averaged more than 1,000 fans per home game. NU has ranked in the top 25 nationally and in the top two of the Big Ten in average attendance during all four years at the venue.
• The Nebraska soccer program begins its ninth season as a member of the Big Ten Conference this weekend. Nebraska won the regular-season and tournament titles in 2013, as one of four appearances in the Big Ten Tournament since 2011.
Scouting the Purdue Boilermakers
• Purdue is 4-2-1 this season following a tie against Saint Louis on Sunday. The Boilermakers won their first four games, outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 10-1, before dropping close matches to No. 7 South Carolina and No. 11 Kansas.
• Last season, the Boilermakers went 6-8-4 overall and finished 13th in the Big Ten with a 1-7-3 mark in conference play.
• Nebraska leads the all-time series against Purdue, 7-3-0, dating back to the first meeting between the schools in 2000. Last season, NU posted a 1-0 win in Lincoln, Neb.
• Head Coach Drew Roff is 33-34-9 in his fifth season at Purdue. He holds a career record of 157-101-21 in his 15th year overall. Roff is assisted by Jim Schneiderhahn and Katie Greenberg.

Scouting the Indiana Hoosiers
• Indiana is 4-3-0 this season and enters the weekend on a three-game winning streak. In the Hoosier's last three games, they have outscored Morehead State, UT Martin and Kentucky by a combined margin of 8-1.
• Indiana hosts Iowa on Friday afternoon before facing Nebraska on Sunday.
• Last season, the Hoosiers went 8-8-2 overall and finished 11th in the Big Ten with a 4-7-0 mark in conference play.
• Nebraska leads the all-time series against Indiana, 7-1-1, dating back to the first meeting between the schools in 2010. Last season, Nebraska came from behind to win by a 4-3 margin over the Hoosiers in Lincoln, as Faith Carter posted a hat trick.
• Head Coach Erwin Van Bennekom is 4-3-0 in his first season overall at Indiana. He is assisted by Bri Young, Doug Starnes and Emily Basten.
