Huskers Add All-American Glazer

National Tenpin Coaches Association All-American Leah Glazer has joined the Nebraska bowling team for the 2019-20 season.

Glazer, an honorable-mention NTCA All-American as a sophomore at Arkansas State in 2018-19, helped the Wolves to a fifth-place finish at the 2019 NCAA Championships.

The junior from Henderson, Nev., will be immediately eligible to compete for a major role in the Husker lineup.

As a freshman for the Red Wolves in 2017-18, Glazer posted a 206.03 average (7,829 total pinfall) while competing in 38 traditional matches. She was the MVP at the Track Kat Klash with a 248.20 average (1,241 pinfall). She also claimed a spot on the all-tournament team at the Southland Bowling League Championship.

Glazer won the Class 4A Nevada state championship as a senior in 2017 at Bishop Gorman High School with a three-game series of 747 - 143 pins ahead of the runner-up. She was a first-team all-state selection as both a junior and senior at Bishop Gorman.
