Nebraska at Hawkeye Invitational

Lincoln-- The Nebraska swimming and diving team will travel to Iowa City, Iowa on Thursday, Nov. 15 to take part in the three-day Hawkeye Invitational. The squad will compete starting Thursday at 10 a.m. For live results, click here.
Host Iowa owns a 2-3 overall record this season, after splitting a double dual. The Hawkeyes fell to Big Ten foe Michigan, but regained strength and defeated Denver. The schools that will be competing this weekend are Iowa, Missouri State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Grand Canyon, South Dakota and SMU. The schools that are competing in the fiving events are Omaha, Wisconsin, Michigan State, UNI, Kansas and Iowa State.
Tori Beeler, Autumn Haebig and Abigail Knapton are returning to action after representing Nebraska at the 2018 ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Knapton finished fourth in the platform event and three-meter dive.
Following the Hawkeye Invitational, Nebraska will have less than two weeks off before competing at the USA Swimming Winter Nationals in Greensboro, N.C, Nov. 28-Dec. 1. The Huskers will continue their dual season January 12 in Omaha to face the Mavericks.
Last Time Out: Huskers Contribute to Win at ACC/Big Ten Challenge
Tori Beeler, Autumn Haebig and Abigail Knapton represented the Nebraska swimming and diving team over the weekend at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Big Ten Conference topped the Atlantic Coast Conference with a final score of 251-102.
During the meet, Haebig and Beeler were apart of a 400-yard medley relay team that came in sixth place (3:41.60). Haebig also posted an eighth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (50.18).
On the diving front, Knapton came in fourth in the platform event with a score of 257.55. She also came in fourth in the three-meter event (310.80).
