Huskers Contribute to Win at ACC/Big Ten Challenge

West Lafayette, Ind.- Tori Beeler, Autumn Haebig and Abigail Knapton represented the Nebraska swimming and diving team over the weekend at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Big Ten Conference topped the Atlantic Coast Conference with a final score of 251-102.

During the meet, Haebig and Beeler were apart of a 400-yard medley relay team that came in sixth place (3:41.60). Haebig also posted an eighth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (50.18).

On the diving front, Knapton came in fourth in the platform event with a score of 257.55. She also came in fourth in the three-meter event (310.80).

The Big Red will send members of the team to the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa Nov. 15- 17. The Huskers will continue their dual season January 12 in Omaha to face the Mavericks.
