Sisters Haley and Hannah Thiele earned WGCA Scholastic All-America awards for Nebraska when the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced its All-America Scholar Team last week.
Haley earned her second career WGCA All-America Scholar Award as a redshirt sophomore for the Huskers in 2018, after capturing her first honor as a true freshman in 2016. Hannah, a true freshman at Nebraska in 2018, claimed the first WGCA Scholastic All-America honor of her career.
The sisters from Wahoo, Neb., both maintained better than a 3.50 GPA while contributing for the Huskers on the course throughout the season.
They were joined on the WGCA Scholastic All-America team by 2018 sophomore Annie Sritragul, who claimed her second straight WGCA honor.
Since 1989, the Nebraska women's golf program has amassed 74 WGCA Scholastic All-Americans under Coach Robin Krapfl.
