Des Moines, Iowa – Former Nebraska track and field student-athlete Antoine Lloyd finished sixth in the 110-meter hurdles on Sunday night at the USATF Outdoor Championships at Drake Stadium.
Lloyd began the day by setting a lifetime best in Sunday’s semifinal round with a time of 13.46, to place third in his heat and qualify for the final. In the final, Lloyd posted a time of 13.72 out of lane 2 to claim sixth place following a lengthy weather delay. 2016 Olympian Devon Allen (13.452) edged Grant Holloway (13.454) for the race victory.
Landon Bartel placed 13th in the men’s high jump with a clearance of 6-11 ½ (2.12m). Cody Walton finished 16th in the men’s javelin with a throw of 211-1 (64.35m) and Shylia Riley took 16th in the women’s long jump with a leap of 19-4 ¾ (5.91m).
